WILL BRADMAN COME TO N.Z.?
AUSTRALIAN ELEVEN ASKED TO MAKE TRIP. The New Zealand Cricket Council have authorised Mr A. Sims, who is now in Australia, to negotiate with the Board of Control for a visit of an Australian team, leaving Australia at the end of the Australian first-class season, on March 6. It is almost certain that the following players will be included: Bradman, Jackson, Richardson, Mailey, Rigg, AUsopp, Harris, Oldfield and Grimmett, and probably Wcodfull and Ponsford. If arrangements can be concluded, two matches against New Zealand can be played before the New Zealand team leaves for England.
