HUGE SUM WRITTEN OFF HOSPITAL ACCOUNTS
(Special to the “Star.”) WELLINGTON, November 2,. During the last seven years, £300,000 has been written.off hospital accounts in Wellington, according to figures given to the Hospital Board yesterday bv the chairman of the Fees Committee. He added that from April to October last year, the sum written off was £22,085, and from April to October this year, the amount written off amounted to £27,858.
