MR FORBES TO DISCUSS THE TARIFF POSITION.
Per Press Association. WELLINGTON, November 27. Tariff questions affecting Australia and New Zealand will probably be the subject of conversations between Mr Forbes and the Commonwealth authorities when the Prime Minister is returning from the Imperial Conference. The Acting-Minister of Customs, the Hon J. G. Cobbe, to-day referred to Australia’s favourable trade balance and said he expected that negotiations would shortly take pldce with a view to revising the existing agreement.
