Mrs T. Philips, Dunedin, is staying at the Clarendon Hotel. Mr and Mrs R. Finch, Oamaru, are guests at the Clarendon Hotel. Mr and Mrs T. B. Findlay, Dannevirke, are guests at Warner’s Hotel. Mr and Mrs W. J. Hill, Dannevirke, are in Christchurch and are staying at Warner’s Hotel. Mr and Mrs B. Finnigan, Melbourne, are staying at the United Service Hotel. Mrs Ironside, Montreal Street, is visiting her married daughter in Auckland. Sir Walter and Lady Stringer (Auckland) are staying at the United Service Hotel. Mrs A. Macdonald, “ The Plains,” Southland, who has been visiting friends in Christchurch and Wellington, returned home yesterday. Mrs A. E. Chrisp, West Lyttelton, who attended the Plunket Society’s conference at Wellington returned home yesterday morning. Miss Peggy Norton, Christchurch, is at present the guest of Mrs George Reid, Rotherham. Later she will vis't her sister, Mrs Maurice Macfarlane. “Awapuni,” Waikari. Mrs H. T. Little and Miss M Little (Hawarden), Mrs A. G. M'Cullock and Miss Blair (Wellington) and Mrs Lee Smith (Dunedin) are staying at Warnfer’s Hotel. Mr and Mrs O. Kresse and Miss Mildred Kresse, Chicago, who are staying at the United Service Hotel, will leave to-morrow for St Martins, where they have taken Mr J. G. Hawkins’s house on Murray-Aynsley Hill, for several months. - The Mayoress (Mrs J. K. Archer) has agreed to act as chairwoman of the committee which will make arrangements for the street collection on December 3 to raise funds for acquiring and improving reserves for the Summit Road Trust.
