ROWING.
CHAMPION SCULLER OF N.S.W. TO BE INVITED. Per Press Association. WELLINGTON, November 27. At a meeting of the New Zealand Rowing Council, it was decided to ascertain if Scott, the New South Wales champion sculler, was prepared to visit New Zealand this season. The chairman, Mr E. S. Innes, submitted a scheme in connection with rowing championships. The proposals provide for each local association holding its own provincial championship, the New Zealand championship regatta to be held at the latter end of each season, the crews to consist of provincial representatives, and not club representatives as at present. The council thought the scheme worthy of consideration, and decided to obtain the opinions of local associations.
