MAN INJURED WHEN DOOR FALLS OPEN
Thomas Smith, of 76, Nursery Road, a Gas Company employee, had his right leg fractured when working with a lorry full of coal at the company’s yard at Waltham. The door at the side of the lorry was forced open by the weight of coal, and struck Smith on the leg. He was taken to the Christchurch Hospital.
