NO CHARGE AGAINST YOUNG “MURDERER”
CONFESSION RETRACTED AFTER MONTHS IN GAOL. (United Press Assn.—By Electrio Telegraph.—Copyright.) (Received November 27, 11.30 a.m.) PARIS, November 25. The Public Prosecutor*has announced that he is not preferring any charge against Andree Leloutre, whose several months’ custody have damped the ardour, for notoriety which prompted his false confession, when arrested on a charge of assaulting another woman, that he killed the English woman, Mrs Florence Wilson, at Le Touquet two years ago. Leloutre subsequently retracted all statements, and denied having had anything to do with the crime. He was taken on September 15 to the scene of the crime, where it was reconstructed. He was identified by a witness as the youth seen on the night of the murder near the place where it was committed. Leloutre was then taken back to prison pending further investigations.
