NEW BRIGHTON V. OPAWA. A junior R flag match played on the Opawa greens between teams representing the New Brighton and Opawa Croquet Clubs resulted in a win for the home team by seven games to two. The scores were (Opawa names first) : Singles—Mrs Kane 26, Mrs Cook 16; Mrs Owen 26, Mrs Smith 20; Mrs Holland IS, Mrs J. Cook 26; Mrs Robson 26, Mrs A. Cook and Dey 5; Mr Esson and Mrs Tregurtha 26 Mesdames .Blunt and Ward 12. Rangiora v. Bdgeware. A pennant croquet match was played at Rangiora on Tuesday between the Edgeware and Rangiora Clubs.
