PRICES MAINTAINED AT LONDON WOOL SALES. EXCELLENT SELECTION OF GREASY MERINOS. (United Press Assn.—By Electric Telegraph—Copyright.) (Received November 27, 12.30 pjn.) LONDON, November 26. At the wool sales 9808 bales were offered, including 2606 bales of New Zealand wools. About 6464 bales were sold. There was an excellent selection of greasy Merino, and other sorts were well represented. There was good competition .and opening prices were maintained. New Zealand lots sold as follows: Greasy, Atamoa (83d top price), 7d average. U.S. URGED TO RAISE THE BUTTER TARIFF. (United Press Assn.—By Electric Telegraph.—Copyright.) (Received November 27, 10.25 a.m.) VANCOUVER, November 26. A message from Sioux Falls states that Congressman C. A. Christopherson, first South Dakota district, urged that the butter tariff be increased through the flexible provisions of the present law. He said that the recent offer of 5,000,000 pounds of Australian butter on the New York markets, which immediately depressed domestic prices, called for an immediate increase of the tariff. BUY WHEAT NOW, WHILE THE PRICES ARE DOWN. (Received November 27, 11.30 a.m.) WASHINGTON, November 26. Senator Legge, chairman of the Farm Board, addressing newspapermen today declared that the present was a good time for millers and feeders to purchase wheat, while it was cheap. Asked whether he meant that the price
