POSTPONEMENT MERELY AN ECONOMY MEASURE.
Per Press Association. WELLINGTON, November 20. The Minister of Defence explained to-day that postponement of the military camps during the summer was purely an economy measure. It would have cost £25,000 to hold the camps which had been arranged, and the Government decided that the expenditure was too great.
