REDS FIRE UPON BRITISH SHIP.
OFFICER WOUNDED ON YANG-TSE RIVER. (United Press Assn.—By Electric Telegraph—Copyright.) (Received November 27, 9.45 a.m.) SHANGHAI, November 22. An officer of the British Yang-tse steamer _Fuh-wo was wounded when Communists fired on the ship near Hankow. The Reds’ influence is spreading in the Hunan-Tungting Lake area, which is unsafe. Twenty American missionaries s are isolated in Shen-cow and West Hunan. They claim that 202 counties are under the domination of the Communists.
