FORBURY PARK TROTS. Per Press Association. DUNEDIN, November 27. The Forbury Park trots opened in dull and cold weather. The course heavy after the rain. The attendance was fair. Results:— ROSLYN HANDICAP, Of 200 sovs. Class 3.45. One mile and a half. 3—Great Glee, scr 1 1— Wally Bingen, scr 2 2 Welcome Guy, scr 3 Biddy Parish scr, Merrijigs scr, Pattie Bingen scr, Rapture 12yds bhd, Hydro 60yds, Silurian 84yds also started. V on by a neck, two lengths between second and third. Time—3min 47 3-ssec. Welcome Guy passed the post second with Wally Bingen third, but Kennerley, the driver of Welcome Guy, was fined £lO for interference with Wally Bingen in the straight, the steward’s placing the latter second and the former third. AUCKLAND GALLOPS. (Special to the “Star.”) AUCKLAND, November 27. The weather was fine during training operations at Takanini. The grass track was available only for horses having engagements at Takapuna. Owing to the recent rain, the going was inclined to cut up. Havaspot and Ghief Joy were together at the end of five furlongs in lmin 6 3-ssec. Rosshire did a round in lmin 55 4-5 sec, after leaving the first three furlongs behind in 43sec. Sargon was sent over a mile, being accompanied over the first half by Smithfield and the last half by a Chief Ruler—Peut Etre filly. The •distance was run in lmin 46 2-ssec, the first half taking 51 3-ssec, and the last half in 54 4-ssec. Ti Tree covered five furlongs in 1 min 8 2-ssec. At Takapuna. The weather was showery for training at Takapuna and the going was on the soft side. Gallops took place on the course proper with trestles thirty feet out. Biddy’s Boy and Awamutu ran six furlongs in lmin 26 l-ssec, Awamutu being well clear at the finish. Flying Prince and Desert Glow were on terms after running seven furlongs in lmin 41 3-ssec. Flying Prince pleased better. Princess Bede led Baroscope at the end of half a mile in 53 4-ssec. Nancy Lee was given easy pace work over a couple of rounds. At Ellerslie. Final gallops preparatory to the Takapuna meeting were held at Ellershc this morning. The weather was showery and the going, although not v £> "’ as inclined to cut up a bit. was a useful work-out, but Eager Rose was not by any means doing her best. Bennie and Corinax were allotted a round, running the distance in lmin 47 3-ssec, the final half-mile taking 53 2- Both horses shaped nicely and although Bennie was a shade in front, Corinax appeared to be doing the better. The best sprint of the morning was registered by Royal Tea, who ran five furlongs in lmin 5 l-ssec. This horse has done well since he raced at Whangarei. Catoma got to the end of six furlongs in lmin 22 o-ssec, and Tetrachate accomplished a similar task in lmm 22 4-ssec. Kairuri was not doing his best to traverse half a mile in 56 3-ssec. Neil and Prince Amans went seven furlongs, running the last six in lmin 24sec, Neil going the betteif Sleepy 'Sol and Sir Mond jumped off at the six furlong post, taking 38 l-ssec for the first three furlongs, and completing the full distance in lmin 1!1 3- Sleepy Sol was in front at the finish. Sir Mond appeared to be slipping about a bit when coming round the bend. Bizarro beat King Swift by a couple of lengths at the end of seven furlongs, which took lmin 37 3-ssec. Karang.ipai was too good for Gay Idea at the end of half a mile run in 53 l*ssec. Sub-Editor and 'Tui Mint were on terms, running six furlongs in lmin 24 2-ssec. This pair did their work well. Currajong, who jumped off in front of th, six furlong post, ran the last five furlongs in lmin 8 2-ssec. Spring Song was given an easv task, running six furlongs in lmin 21 ].srpo.
