STORY OF UNREQUITED LOVE TOLD IN COURT.
Per Press Association. WELLINGTON, November 27. A story of unrequited love was told in the Police Court this morning. Wilfred Owen Natta, aged twenty-one, a labourer, having interfered .with the motor-cycle of Alfred Gordon Sadler, to whom his young lady had transferred her affections, was interviewed at the Police Station. He frankly admitted the offence, but said he would do the girl some harm as soon as he got out. He was reasoned with to no purpose and consequently was kept in the cells for the night. He was fined £2 and ordered to make good the damage to the machine, 17s.
