PATIENTS DO DAMAGE AT T.B. SANATORIUM.
A rather peculiar position has arisen at the L T pper Sanatorium on Cashmere hills, under the jurisdiction of the North Canterbury Hospital Board. The patients recently passed the following resolution: “On account of the recent increase in wanton destruction of Sanatorium property* by a small section of the patients, and of the discredit that is being brought on the institution as a whole hereby, this qieeting empowers the Social Committee to warn persistent offenders, and if the warning is disregarded, to report to the Director.” j The board to-day expressed regret that such action should be necessary*, and trusted that the damage would now cease.
