MUCH DAMAGE DONE BY STORM
MISSIONS WRECKED AND SMALL CRAFT ASHORE. (United Press Assn.—By Electric Telegraph.—Copyright.) (Received November 26, 11.30 a.m.) SUVA, November 26. Levuka wharf. Customs House, Post Office and the Polynesian Hotel were badly damaged in the gale. The Catholic mission stations at Loretto and Tokou on Ovalau Island, and many other buildings are down. Many small craft were driven ashore at Levuka, and there is little hope for the missing missionary, Mr Lang, and his partj% who are believed to have been drowned.
