Arthur George Charles, aged fiftynine years, was charged in the Magistrate's Court this morning, before Mr 11. P. Lawry, S.M., with being an idle and disorderly person in that he had no lawful visible means of support. He also appeared for sentence on a charge of assaulting Selwyn John Price, on which he was convicted last July and ordered to come up for sentence if called upon within six months. SubInspector O’Hara said that accused had been making a nuisance of himself cadging in the vicinity of his home, and had been sleeping out. lie was remanded to a Linear to-morrow.
