The matter of the children’s Christmas tree was left in the hands of the Social Committee. The Lecture Master congratulated the retiring N.G., Brother 11. C. Lane, on the efficient manner in which he had carried out his duties. Brother Lane suitably responded. _ A resolution that the name of the retiring I. Sister A. G. Hillsdon, should be placed on the “Respect” Board, and that she be presented with a Past Grand’s jewel, was carried. P.G. Brother T. Nunan was appointed Guardian. A public meeting to consider arrangements for the annual borough and District High School picnic is to be held in the Town Hall this evening. The Mayor (Mr W. 11.
