CHIEF SCOUT ARRIVES THREE DAYS EARLIER.
The Chief Scout (General Lord Baden-Powell) and the Chief Guide (Lady Baden-Powell) will arrive in Christchurch three days earlier than was at first expected. .V cable from London received by the Dominion Scout headquarters states that the ship bearing the distinguished visitors is expected to reach Auckland on February 18, five days ahead of the time formerly scheduled. The Scout rally in Christchurch will be brought forward one week. The visitors will arrive in Christchurch on Tuesday, March 3, and a civic reception will be accorded at noon on that da 3', instead of on Friday, March 6.
