BRILLIANT SPECTACLE AT ST JAMES’ THEATRE.
Wonderfully varied, highly spectacular, and played by a cast Including many of the screen’s foremost stars, “Show of Shows ” is. undoubtedly, one of the most entertaining revues ever produced. and it marks a distinct advance in talking pictures of this type. The whole production is in technieolour and many of the scenes are exceedingly beautiful. There are a number of raag“HEARTS IN XS2CII.E.” r>olores Costello, one of the most popular screen stars, is featured in next attraction at the St James’ Theatre, commencing on Saturday next. “Hearts in Exile” is an unusual story of love and political intrigue in Russia. The three central characters, Vera Ivanova (played by Dolores Costello). Paul Pavloff (Grant Withers) and Baron Serge Palma (.James Kirkwood), form a triangle that runs a dramatic course and reaches a startling climax. The scenes of “Hearts in Exile” are laid in Liberia and the slums of Moscow, and are interesting and realistic. The box plans are now open at The Bristol.
