LODGE MEETINGS.
Arch Druid Brother Gribbon presided over a large attendance of members at the quarterly meeting of the Pioneer Lodge, No. 1, U.A.O.D. Correspondence was received from the Royal Arch Chapter notifying that the annual meeting would be held on September 6, and also that a meeting would be held on September 10, in connection with the competitions. The delegates to the Benevolent Association reported on the recent meeting stating that £4O had been granted to three needy cases. The sick Bards reported on the brothers under* their care. The sum of £lB 30s was passed for sick pay. It was decid*d that the quarterly subscriptions of widown should be 9s in the future. The lodge will enter a team in the coming competition. The brothers who attended the jubilee of the Star of Anglesea Lodge reported that a pleasant time was spent.
