ELECTORAL COMMITTEE OF MEAT BOARD ELECTED
Per Press Association. WELLINGTON, August 20. The returning officer for the Meat Producers’ Board has announced the result of the postal ballot, which was conducted for the purpose of electing delegates to represent the various districts on the Electoral Committee, which meets in Wellington on August 28 to consider the eighth annual report and the accounts of the board, and to elect two producers’ representatives on the board. As already reported, an election was not necessary in Ihe districts of Gisborne, West Coast, Wairarapa, North and Mid-Canterbury, South Canterbury and Otago, as the delegates nominated for these districts did net exceed the number required. The full personnel of the Electoral Committee is as follows; Auckland District—Messrs F. R. Seddon (Hamilton), 11. E. Worsp (Whangarei). Gisborne District—Messrs J. E. Benson (Ormond), E. R. Black (Gisborne). Hawke’s Bay District—Messrs E. Averill (Hastings), R. S. Chadwick (Dannevirke), J. If. Toll (Havelock North), A. V. S. Reed '(Napier). West Coast District—Messrs. T. Currie (Brunswick), J. Knight (Feeding), L. B. Wall (Kairanga). Wairarapa District—Messrs J. M. James (Masterton), H. M’Leod (Martinborough). Marlborough-Nelson-Westland District—Messrs T. Morrin (Seddon), H. J. Stace (Spring Creek). North and Mid-Canterbury District— Messrs A. P. Bruce (Pendarves), L. R. C. Macfarlane (Culverden), R. M. Morten (Tai Tapu). South Canterbury District—Messrs G. A. M. Macdonald (Orari), J. Trotter (Fairlie). Otago District—Messrs J. Begg (Dunedin), J. D. Revell (Crookston), D. J. Ross (Hillgrove). Southland District—Messrs A. S. Holms (Waimahaka), IT. Smith (Waikaka Valley).
