“The conditions regarding foot and mouth disease in England arc very much better,” stated the Director-Gen-eral of Agriculture (Dr C. J. Rcakes) this morning. “The matter of lessening the restrictions on the importation of
cattle from England will be considered by the New Zealand Board of Agriculture next month. The Minister (the Hon A. J. Murdoch) has asked the board, which acts in an advisory capacity the Minister, to make recommendations."
