(United Press Assn.—By Electric Telegraph—Copyright.) (Received July 29, 11 a.m.) SHANGHAI, July 28. The Communist menace has developed to an alarming extent at KiangsiIlunan. During the last few days the vagrant bands have suddenly coalesced, forming a well-disciplined and wellequipped army, 10,000 strong, which is reported to have captured Nanchang, the capital of Kiangsi and is advancing to within fifteen miles of Kiukiang, a holiday resort of foreigners. British, Anieri'can and Japanese gunboats are helping in evacuating their nationals from Changsha, twenty-five miles away, at which point the Government troops severely defeated the Communists.
