PLUNKET SOCIETY.
The monthly meeting of the IlornbyTempleton branch of the Plunket Society was held in the parish schoolroom. Present: Mesdames Thomson (in the chair), Palmer, Barnes, Wastney, Richardson, Lewis, Bryce and Parker. The nurse’s report for the month of June was as follows: Ilornby, Adults 31, babies 31, children 9. visits 2, one pew case; Templeton: Adults 5, babies 3, children 3, visits 17, four new cases. It was decided to hold a variety carnival in aid of the funds early in September.
