FLOOR POLISH THAT WILL NOT “SHOW MARKS.”
Four ounces of beeswax, one pint of turpentine, one tablespoon of cloudy ammonia, and two cups of soft water. Shred the wax finely and let it stand in the turpentine all night. Stir the ammonia in next morning. Add the water, stir well, bottle, and keep well corked. Always shake before using. Apply with a clean rag and then polish in the usual wqy. All polish containing linseed oil shows marks, so this one without any oil should be useful as it leaves a brilliant polish that does not mark; and it is also very cheap.
