The programme at the Crystal Palace Theatre is a delight from beginning to end. The main attraction, Scarlet,” Is an all-talking production featuring Clive Brook and Evelyn Brent. It i» a story of imrnacuL*te crooks, and is a first-class piece of work, strong in dramatic effeot. Among the shorts, a news film depicts the arrival of Commander Byrd at Dunedin on his return from the South Pole. An excellent comedy also is screened.
