A Test Team.
To the Editor. Dear Sir, —Owing to general dissatisfaction with the selection of the New Zealand players in past test matches, we feel, in common with many others, that a suggestion from an outside source might be of value for the coming test. The following team is our selection, and we feel sure if the past performances of these players are duly considered their full value will be at # once realised:— F ull-back—N epia. Three-quarters—Hart, Cooke and Minns. Five-eighths—Lilburnq and Nicholls (captain). Half-back—Corner. Forwards—Scrimshaw (wing), Hazlett and Stewart (back row), Finlayson and M’Williams (supports), Steere (lock), and Cotterill and Hore (hookers). Hoping the above suggestion will come under the notice of those responsible.—We are, etc., £.Y.Z.
