TIMETABLE ALTERATIONS. OjJerating from and including Sunday, 13th July, 1930. MAIL AND EXPRESS TRAINS. CHRISTCHURCH-DUNEDIN - INVERCARGILL—The 8.35 a.m. Christ-church-Invercargill and 7.0 a.m. Inver-cargili-Lvttelton Wharf Express trains will run on TUESDAYS, THURSDAYS and SATURDAYS only. The 12.25 p.m. Christchurch-Dunedin Mail train will run on WEDNESDAYS and FRIDAYS only. The 8.40 a.m. Dunedin-Chnstchurch Mail Train will run on MONDAYS, WEDNESDAYS and FRIDAYS only. On MONDAYS Mail train for Dunedin will leave Christchurch at 8.35 a.m., Rakaia 9.38, Ashburton 10.14 a.m., and arrive Dunedin 5.5 p.m. Makes same stops as the 12.25 p.m. Christchurch-Dunedin Mail train; also stops at Addington, if required, to pick up passengers off the 7.40 a.m. Rangi-ora-Christchurch train. Night Express train usually leaving Christchurch for Invercargill at 10.30 p.m. on Sundays, Wednesdays and Fridays will leave Christchurch at 10.30 p.m. on SUNDAYS, TUESDAYS and THURSDAYS, and will run to Dunedin only, connecting with Mail train for Invercargill. Night Express train usually leaving Invercargill for Christchurch at 6.40 p.m. on Sundays, Tuesdays and Thursdays will START from DUNEDIN on WEDNESDAYS and FRIDAYS and from INVERCARGILL on SUNDAYS ONLY. LYTTELTON LINE—The 7.37 p.m. Christchurch-Lyttelton Wharf and 8.40 p.m. Lyttelton-Christchurch trains will run on TUESDAYS, THURSDAYS and SATURDAYS only. CHRISTCHURCH - WAIAU Tho train usually leaving Waiau for Christchurch at 6.5 a.m. (Wednesdays only) will NOT run between Waiau and Hawarden. The train usually leaving Culverden for Christchurch at 6.34 a.m. daily will NOT run between Culverden and Waikari except that on Wednesdays it will start from Hawarden. The morning train for Christchurch will leave Hawarden on WEDNESDAYS at 7.8 a.m. and Waikari DAILY at 7.17 a.m. and run on present timetable to Christchurch. The afternoon train for Christchurch will leave Waiau at 2.13 p.m. (TUESDAYS, THURSDAYS and SATURDAYS) and Culverden 3.7 p.m. daily, Hawarden 3.40, Waikari 3.49, Waipara arrive 4.11 p.m. (connecting with the 2.321 p.m. Parnassus-Christchurch train), Waipara depart 4.35 p.m., Rangiora 6.1, Christchurch arrive 7.39 pm. Usual 4.25 p.m. train from Christchurch (not Saturdays) will TERMINATE at WAIKARI on Mondays, Tuesdays, Thursdays and Fridays, and at* HAWARDEN on Wednesdays. It will leave Christchurch at 4.37 p.m., Papanui 4.55, Kaiapoi 5.17, Rangiora 5.41, Waipara 6.37, Waikari arrive 7.3, Waikari depart (Wednesday only) 7.5, Hawarden arrive 7.12 p.m. The train usually leaving Christchurch for Culverden at 5.17 p.m. on Saturdays will TERMINATE at WAIKARI. After leaving Sefton it will run EARLIER and will leave Amberley at 6.57 p.m., Waipara depart 7.18, and arrive Waikari 7.44 p.m. PARNASSUS - CHRISTCHURCH— Usual. 2.10 p.m. Parnassus-Christchurch train will leave Parnassus 2.32 p.m., Mina 2.57, Scargill 3.43, Waipara arrive 4-12, depart 4.22, Sefton 4.48, Rangiora 1 5.4, Kaiapoi 5.18, Christchurch arrive I 5.51 pm. i In addition to the usual stops it | will stop at Stewart’s Gully to pick I up, and at Sefton to pick up and set i down.
