To Ease the Eye and Head. If you think your headaches are caused by eye-strain, you should lose no time in having your eyes tested. In the meantime, bathe the eyes night and morning with a boracic lotion, and rest them as much as possible. A cloth soaked in hot water, wrung out and placed over the eyes, has a very soothing effect, but take care the water is not too hot, and this should be done immediately before going to bed, otherwise a chill might result. Premature wrinkles round the eyes are often caused by inexperienced massage, and when applying face cream, rouge, or any other comestic, exercise every care when near the eyes, as the skin being very soft and supple, is likely to stretch and wrinkle.
