MUSICAL AFTERNOON.
Yesterday afternoon, at the Canterbury Women’s Club, a musical programme arranged by Mrs T. D. Kendall was given to a large number of members. Large bowls of wattle and blue irises made a charming setting for the ‘•oloists. The following items were contributed:—Piano solos, Miss Vivienne Kendall: songs, Miss Edna Donaldson and Miss Waveney Bowbyes; violin solos, Miss Thelma Cusack.
