TROTTING DATES.
(Special to the “Star.”) WELLINGTON, July V. The Trotting Conference to-day approved of dates as applied for with the following exceptions:— The Northland Club was granted October 18 instead of Labour Day. The Otahuhu Club, November 19 and 22 instead of November 22 and 26. The Wellington Club to race January 17 and 19 or January 15 and 17, and to drop one day in February. The date for the Waikato Club, March 28, was not granted, but February 14 was suggested. The Te Aroha Club was granted May 9 instead of April 27. The New Brighton Club was granted September 6 and December 13, also February 26 and 28. With reference to an objection from the Whangarei Racing Club to the Cambridge Trotting Club racing on May 2, it was decided to request the racing conference to arrange another day for Whangarei.
