COMBINED STAFFS HOLD ANNUAL DANCE.

Large groups of gaily coloured balloons, paper hats and other novelties decorated the Winter Garden last evening, when the combined staffs of Messrs Booth, Macdonald and Co., Ltd. and James J. Niven and Co., Ltd. held their annual dance. The committee in charge of the arrangements -were:— Misses L. Faulls, V. M. Scott, J. Ilardie, N. Betts, and N. Nicholson, Messrs G. Hall, W. F. Spong, lan Gunn, and Keo. Campion, and Miss M. M.’Naughton and Mr G. S. Burnip (joint secretaries). A Russian Ballet was given by Miss Bessie Macdonald’s pupils, and a snowball and balloon dance provided a great deal of amusement. Supper was served, and Bailey-Marston’s orchestra provided music.
