Among loans authorised by Order-in-Council is one of £IO,OOO for the Christchurch Tramway Board. Interest has been fixed at 5i per cent, with a sinking fund payment of £2 2s per cent, and the term is twenty years. With the exception of the sinking fund payment, which is 3 per cent, the South Canterbury Hospital Board has been authorised to raise £47,000 on the same conditions.
