Remarkable Goal-Kicking.

HOW WAIRARAPA BEAT HAWKE’S BAY FIFTEEN.

As a result of remarkable goal-kick-ing by F. Fuller, Wairarapa were able to defeat Hawke's Bay here on Saturday by 30 points to 22. In all, Fuller, who is a wing three-quarter, sent the ball oyer the cross-bar eight times—five penalties and three conversions He scored a try as well.

At half-time Hawke’s Bay led by 14 points to 8. and the second spell was thrilling. Hawke’s Bay'were the first to attack. Wanoa. dashed up and ran over to score. Evans goaled, a beautiful kick.. Hawke’s Bay 19, Wairarapa 8. Wairarapa returned to the attack, and in striking distance a free kick from the sideline gave Fuller a chance, and he goaled.
