MRS MERRICK ONCE AGAIN ARRESTED.
NIGHT CLUB QUEEN’S REIGN IS CUT SHORT.
(United Press Assn.—By Electric Telegraph—Copyright.) (Received June 30, 1.50 p.m.) LONDON, June 29. Mrs Merrick, the Night Club Queen, did net reign long over the night clubs after her release from gaol. The police raided the 43 Club in the early morning and Mrs Merrick left in tears by private motor-car, but a warrant for her arrest followed. The police asked for substantial bail, as it was discovered that she had applied for a passport to France. She was released on bail of £2OOO.
