NIGHT CLUB QUEEN’S REIGN IS CUT SHORT.

Mrs Merrick, the Night Club Queen, did net reign long over the night clubs after her release from gaol. The police raided the 43 Club in the early morning and Mrs Merrick left in tears by private motor-car, but a warrant for her arrest followed. The police asked for substantial bail, as it was discovered that she had applied for a passport to France. She was released on bail of £2OOO.
