Jacobs intercepted and pressed Albion with a neat punt, Roberts saving in the nick of time. Then it was Lilburne’s turn to intercept, and he drove Old Boys to half way with a good kick. Albion were more than holding their own in the forwards, only to be driven back time after time by the speed of the Old Boys’ rearguard.
