FARMER DIES AS RESULT OF SEVERE INJURIES. Per Press Association. WELLINGTON, June 28. Through falling from a cliff or through some other means, J. J. Wilton, a very old resident of Parapuraumu, suffered injuries late yesterday afternoon which resulted in his death last evening. Mr Wilton, who had a farm in the back country, left his home for his work yesterday afternoon. When he failed to return at the usual time, a search was made, and he was found lying unconscious. The country is very steep and hilly. He had possibly been tying in the open, exposed to the cold night, for some time, and was suffering from concussion. He was brought in by Messrs J. and W. Cromb, and was later attended by Dr Cameron, who did all that was possible, but could not avert his death, which took place soon, afterwards.
