MAJESTIC THEATRE TO SHOW VARIED PROGRAMME
To-night will witness the final screening at the Majestic Theatre of "Her Private Life.” Three special attractions. and a number of short supporting films, will comprise the programme to be presented at the Majestic Theatre next week The Pox all-talking: picture, "Big Time,” introduces to talkie audiences Lee Tracy, who, as a vaudevillian in his native America, has been something more than a sensation. A singer, dancer and entertainer of more than ordinary ability, bo teams in this picture with Josephine Dunn and Mae Clark, and, apart from his talents in his chosen line, he proves, in the more dramatic scenes in which the picture is rich, that ho is also an actor of the first flight Miss Amy Johnson’s arrival In Sydney, piloted by Mr C. T. P. Ulm, and escorted bv many ’planes, is also on the programme. Perhaps of more moment to the people of Christchurch is the sound film of last Saturday’s Rugby test match at Carisbrook Park. The box plans are at The Bristol Piano Company, where seats may be reserved.
