ANNUAL DANCE.

A successful function was held in the Jellicoe Hall on Wednesday evening, when Messrs Smith and Smith, Lyi., held their first annual dance, which was attended by about 100 couples. The Dixieland Orchestra supplied the musical programme, and extras were played by Mr E. Boland. The distribution qf many quaint and amusing novelties created much merriment among the dancers. Much of the success of the evening was due to the efforts of the following committee: Misses C. Richards, D. Campbell and H. B. Scott, Messrs T. J. Slattery, C.
