STAFF DANCE.

About 300 guests attended Messrs Ashby, Bergh and Co.’s annual staff dance at the Winter Garden last evening. The music was supplied by the Bailey-Marston orchestra. The committee were:—Miss M. Wakeley, Miss N. Smith, Messrs R. Wilson, A. Queree, A. Gobbe, H. Pickup, T. Macrae and N. Milne, with Miss D. Cropper and Messrs R. J. M’Aleer and R- K. G. Pegler as secretaries. The supper tables were prettily arranged with early jonquils and chrysanthemums with birch foliage. The guests of honour were Mr and Mrs W. R. Heney. Those who attended were:—Mesdames J. C.
