SCHOLARSHIP AWARDS ANNOUNCED BY SENATE.
(Special to the “ Star.”) WELLINGTON. May 15. The special committee of the New Zealand University Senate to consider the reports of the examiners to award scholarships (post graduate and senior) and free passages, made the following awards: Exhibition Scholarship, 1851—E. F. Thompson (Canterbury). Post Graduate Scholarship in Science —J. W. Harding (Victoria). Science Scholarship—G. J. Williams (Otago). , Free passages were awarded to Joan Stevens (Otag3). A. H, M’Donald (Auckland), J. \V. Harding (Victoria), E. F. Thompson (Canterbury) and J. Williams (Auckland).
