FOUR BURNED TO DEATH IN CAR.

Four motorists, of whom three were women, were incinerated when a car overturned on the Great North Road near Giadsrnuir, where it skidded when it swung out lo avoid a motor lorry. The car immediately took fire. The. lorry driver and passing motorises heroically attempted to rescue the. trapped women, but the fierce flames drove them back. Within three minutes the occupants, with three fox terriers, perished. The women were: Mrs Eric Beilby, of Edinburgh and her twrn daughters, aged 18.
