In the Police Court at Tokomaru Bay, before Justices Pekama Poukaka Whakataka, aged twenty-two, was committed to the Supreme Court at Gisborne for sentence on eight charges of breaking, entering and theft. On a charge of conversion of a car belonging to Richardson and Co., the accused was sentenced to three months’ hard labour. On a charge of conversion of a motor-cycle, and on four charges of theft, he was convicted and discharged.
