FINE COMEDY COMING TO MAJESTIC THEATRE.

In “Nothing But the Truth,” • which is the principal picture booked for presentation at the Majestic Theatre next week, picture-goers have in store for them what is unquestionably one of the funniest comedies ever produced in talking form. It has a plot that is delightfully new, a robust manner of elaborating upon this theme, and an excellent cast of players. Richard Dix, Dorothy Hail, Helen Kane, Ned Sparkes—these are some of the stars who assist in making “Nothing But the Truth” a thoroughly amusing, and enjoyable piece of screen entertainment. Richard Dix has the role of a young business man who makes a bet with some friends that for twenty-four hours he will tell nothing but the truth, come what may. There can be no two opinions as to the quality of the comedy which follows, which is of that hearty type that permits of no obtuse subtleties to tax the brain of the audience; it is a delightful form of burlesque on man s well known unwillingness to tell the whole truth to his business associates and his women, folk, and certainly even a dyspeptic pessimist would come away in a happy frame of mind after seeing and hearing, the amazing and disastrous and altogether hilarious results of Kicnard Dix’s rash vow. Intending patrons are advised to book seats at ine Bristol Piano Company, where the box plans are now open.
