"STREET GIRL” NOW AT THEATRE ROYAL.
A spirited and tunteful drama that clearly shows the possibilities of the new form of musical film entertainment is the “Street Girl,” which is being screened at the Theatre R.oyal. It is one of those shows which has an appeal for every theatre-go'er. There is a captivating plot, a generous share of I fine music, and there is a wealth of personality in the talented cast headed by Betty Compson. Her skill with the violin is impressive for one whose reputation has been built outside the musical world. There are several song and orchestral numbers that cannot help but please. The shorts include a comedy depicting the adventures of a familv on a Sunday. Then there is the Movietone News of the World, showing many novel and interesting events, and several brief items by more or less wellknown artists.
