THE HOME SERVICE ASSOCIATION.
The new committee of the Home Service Association held its first meeting at the office. High Street, pn Tuesday. Mrs A. F. Wright (president) was in the chair. Apologies for absence were received from the following:—Mrs Archer and Mrs G IT. S. Hamilton (vice-presidents). Mrs 11. Wales, Mrs J. E. Fleming, Mrs Reese, and the Misses Aitken, M. Lovell-Smith Wilkie and Stanford. Miss Shaw was elected a member of the General Committee. It was decided to instal the card system in the office. The following sub-committees were appointed:—Finance, Mesdames C. J. Treleaven (convener), H. Wales, H. Bowker, Sims, Reese, and the Misses Aitken and Lovell-Smith; training school scheme Miss Blackmore (convener), Mrs Hansen, and the Misses Beck, Gilmour and Wilkie: publicity, Mrs Hamilton (convener), Mrs A. E. Kincaid, and the Misses M. Lovell-Smith and Glen.
