COSGRAVE AGAIN IRISH PRESIDENT.
DE VALERA DEFEATED FOR OFFICE IN DAIL.
(United Press Assn.—By Electric Telegraph—Copyright.) (Received April 3, 12.30 p.m.) DUBLIN, April 2. The Dail was crowded with visitors when Sean O’Kelly, acting-leader of the Fianna Fail, nominated Mr de Valera to succeed President Cosgrave. This was defeated by 93 votes to 54. The Labour nominee Mr O’Connell was defeated by 78 votes to 13, after which Mr Cosgrave was re-elected.
