Tramway Blunder .

To the Editor. Dear Sir, —The closing in of the open part of the double cabin trams is in many ways an improvement, but the Tramway Board have sacrificed the comfort of the travelling public. The open seats have been placed so close together that there is now not sufficient room for a person of large proportions. The seats next to the cabins are particularly uncomfortable for even a short person and very often the passenger has to struggle past a fat man or woman in leaving the car. The Tramway Board seem to have made a blunder which should not have the effect of encouraging the us» of the trams.—l am, etc. No. 4 PASSENGER.
