Major Segrave’s famous car “ The Golden Arrow,” holder of the world’s record of 231 m.p.h., and lent by Lord Wakefield to the British section of the Motor Manufacturers’ and Traders’ Society, is to make a tour of Australia, where it arrived yesterday. It will be exhibited at the Royal Easter Show, Sydney, and then go to New Zealand and hack home via South Africa. This is part of a British campaign to secure overseas markets. The photograph shows the car in its packing ca'se being lifted on to the s.s. Orama at Tilbury.
