Flames, Leaping High In The Air Endanger Sydney Business Area.
(United Press Association.- —By Electric Telegraph.—Copyright.) (Received April 1,11 a.m.) SYDNEY, April 1. Fire, which broke out in the premises of Harris Brothers, drapers, George Street, City, about four o clock this morning spread rapidly and endangered large shopping blocks in George and Goulburn Streets. Flames leapt high in the air. Firemen from every city station were still fighting the flames at a late hour.
